Dodge Dealerships May be Wiped Out

Hundreds of Dodge dealers could be wiped out. That’s because Chrysler is considering branding changes that would streamline its product offerings. The Wall Street Journal says the change means Chrysler dealers would sell all passenger cars under the Chrysler name, meaning Dodge dealers would sell only pickup and commercial trucks and Jeep dealers would sell only Jeep and sport utility vehicles. That move would eliminate underperforming dealerships that carry excess inventory.
