Toyota Gives Two New Lexus Versions
Lexus, the luxury car brand of Toyota Motor Corporation has been for years, regarded as one of the best producers of quality cars for the US car market. The car brand started in Japan in 1989 and soon went to the US and later become the highest selling brand of luxury cars in 2005.
Toyota Motor Corporation gives the new 2008 Lexus LS two new car types: the four door sedan and the hybrid version. The eco-friendly version of the Lexus car will be separately revealed.
The Lexus LS sedan car for sale will be featuring a larger powertrain handling the V8 engine part on an eight-speed automatic transmission. The new powertrain part will be producing 380 powerful horses featuring the limited electric-motor-driven Variable Valve Timing (VVT-i) as well as the direct injection. This means cleaner emission compared to any other conventional sedan cars. Other standard car parts include Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) stability system as well as the Electric power steering. We can also expect this car to have other updated Toyota parts including the Lexus axle.
The Electronically Controlled Brake (ECB) system will also be a standard car part for the new version of the ongoing 2007 Lexus LS. The VDIM will be responsible for its navigation, including the Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), engine torque via the electronically controlled throttle, anti-lock braking, stability control and electronic power steeringThe new car version will also wear several monitoring sensors. These systems will be responsible for the slide while cornering. It also helps activate the full performance of throttle, braking as well as the steering control which has always been a great standard for all the drivers. The new car also handles the Trac Off button where the driver can use to turn it off by using its standard stability control. Safety car bags are also installed for safety. Buyers can choose eight to the maximum eleven airbags as options.
The new 2008 Lexus LS line up also offers the long wheelbase version L models that add 4.8 inches of space. It also has a navigation system that also offers the XM factory-installed satellite radio as well as the real-time traffic, heated rear seats, climate-controlled front seats, power rear sunshade, a new one-touch open/close power trunk, a new heated steering wheel, power door closers and the headlamp washers. The long wheeled L model will be wearing a laminated glass as an exclusive feature.
